SETTING DVD2SVCD TABS CONTINUES NEW
:: Audio Tab

1. The audio tab settings are set by default.

2. One biggest concern here, is the selection of the audio language. Double check if the DVD offers a Multilanguage. Then the desired language can be chosen by selecting it from the dropdown menu. CLICK HERE

:: FRAMESERVER Tab

1. On the frameserver tab, select "bicubic resize," on the "Avisynth."

2. For the sake of this tutorial, make sure the "No editing" is selected. There are other options that can we can do on this tab. However, I would like to stay at the basics.

3. The rest are given by default. CLICK HERE.

:: Encoder Tab

1. The encoder tab settings are not set by default. Unfortunately, DVD2SVCD does not have an internal encoder. So, we need to use a commercial encoder.  In this tutorial, we will focus on the TMPGEnc encoder. A trial version of this software is available for download. If you will using a CCE, click on the "cinema craft encoder" then point it to the .exe files.

2. Click on the TMPGEnc button. Now click on the dropdown, to browse the directory where TMPGEnc is installed. It should look like something like this "C:\Program Files\Pegasys Inc\TMPGEnc Plus 2.5\TMPGEnc.exe." Click here to see the illustration image.

3. Click on the "motion search precision" and select your desired quality. Hint: Always choose high quality. Warning: By choosing fast encoding time can extremely lower the video quality. The rest just leave it unchange.

:: Setting Bitrate Tab

1. Click the bitrate tab then click on the "Use default." Now we are all finished with the settings, we can go to the next section of this tutorial below which is the conversion and burning it to the disc. Click here to view image.

HINT: Make sure you use a high quality CDR Blank disc for this job to achieve a DVD-like video quality. We only know one place to get high quality blank disc. CONVERTING THE MOVIE TO SVCD FORMAT

In this section of the tutorial, we will be converting the movie into SVCD. The conversion process may take as long as three to six hours. The length of time for the conversion depends on your quality settings. As you can remember in the settings section, we have selected the highest quality possible. This control is under the encoder tab. If you have any quality preferences aside from what have been discussed in this tutorial, you can easily change the TMPGenc settings to other options that meet your needs. Warning: The rule of thumb is that the faster the encoding time, the lower the video quality output.

:: STEP ONE
1. Insert the disc into your computer's DVD player. Click cancel if the auto run, runs your default DVD player file browser. Run the DVD2SVCD . The one that we have just downloaded, in the earlier portion of this tutorial. Now click on the CD icon on the DVD2SVCD window.  CLICK HERE
2. Your DVD2SVCD window should look like this  CLICK HERE. The window should have a file with an .IFO file extension.
3. On the bottom part of the window, it should have a check on the English language option. If not, point your cursor in the box then click. But normally, it should be automatically done for you.

:: STEP TWO

1. Now click on the rip and convert button on the DVD2SVCD window. On the dropdown menu, select Rip and Convert. The ripping of the IFO files should execute immediately. CLICK HERE

2. The processes will take hours to complete, once again it all depends on your PC. Believe me the wait is worth it. For now, we just have to kick back and relax. Wait until the DVD2SVCD finished encoding the movie.

:: STEP THREE

1. After the DVD2SVCD encoded the video, it would create an image files. The file extension of this file should be something like .cue. If you have more than one, you should mount them into the virtual daemon manager. CLICK HERE to see the example.

2. Now you can burn this image with Nero. Open your Nero, then select copy entire disc. Point the source drive to "GENERIC DVD-ROM." Make sure you uncheck quick copy. Choose read as "VIDEO CD." Type how many copies would you like to make and lastly hit the burn button.

3. Do not forget to delete all files made by DVD2SVCD. It could take up a lot of space. It should be in the dvd2svcd/movie..
