HOW TO COPY DVD TUTORIAL NEW
Welcome to our updated tutorial on how to copy DVD using DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter. This updated version can make your DVD copying task much quicker and easier. Unlike the first version, in this version we have completely eliminated the "FOLDER" technique. Just set the DVD Shrink properly, and you are good to go. For the benefit of some of our visitor, who prefers to follow the "FOLDER" technique please click here.

If you are interested in re-authoring, a technique that will allow you to copy 2 movies, double sided ones on a single DVDR disc. You can use this tutorial instead, click here. If you just want to make a full backup of your legally owned DVD, follow the instructions below. Once again, we would like to make our "DISCLAIMER" very clear.

Please download (the latest version) and install these applications first. (1) DVD Decrypter (This is no longer available. Try Google search  above), (2) DVD Shrink, (3) Nero then just follow the tutorial below . If you cannot download a DVD Decrypter, you must use DVDFAB Decrypter instead.

HINT: Make sure you use a high quality CDR Blank disc for this job to achieve a DVD-like video quality. We only know one place to get high quality blank disc. THE TUTORIAL

Before anything else, we would like to remind every visitor of this site that our tutorials are FREE. If you paid someone else before reaching this site, ask for a refund immediately. Place the DVD (movie) into the DVD ROM drive. Press cancel on the auto run prompt. Run the DVD SHRINK then click on the "OPEN DISC" button. The shrink should analyze the DVD movie automatically. If it doesn’t, eject the DVD and reload it. You should see something like this on the screen. CLICK HERE

HINT: If an extra DVD ROM is installed on your computer, this process will be a lot easier. Just place the disc containing the movie into the DVD ROM drive, and the blank DVDR disc in the DVDR drive, to achieve a ONE click copying.

Wait until the DVD Shrink is finished analyzing the movie. If necessary, click on the "FULL DISC" button, then press on the compression tab settings and make sure it is set to automatic with the value of 4464 MB or less. You can uncheck the audio, subtitles at your own discretions. WARNING: Make sure you are familiar with the movie's audio structures. Do not uncheck the main audio, otherwise the movie will be muted, or will have a different language tracks. To see an example CLICK HERE .

WARNING: This could take up some large space of your hard drive, just don't forget to delete these files after you're done recording them on the disc.

Final steps, click on the "back up" button. Set the following buttons as follows.
TARGET DEVICE button: set it to "ISO Image File and Burn with DVD Decrypter."

The "Select Image Target File Selection," Point it to your "Desktop."
DVD Region button: Set it to "Region Free." The rest just leave it alone.

The Shrink will transcode the entire movie. The overall time always depend on your CPU and memory. What is so cool about the new Shrink version is, it would launch the DVD Decrypter to finished the job. The Decrypter will search for your blank DVDr disc. Just place a blank DVDr disc in your DVDR drive, then press enter, or click the arrow button. Decrypter will burn your movie onto the disc. Once again, you just made a perfect copy of your DVD movie.
